The fox is a small carnivorous animal bearing resemblance to the dog family. The only difference between the two is the dog are domesticated and kept as pet whereas the fox are ferocious and wild animal that are generally found in the jungle .They have their features that are similar to the dog with an exception of a elongated nose with triangular ears which are very small. They have a flat face and deep set eyes .The body is small with a bushy tail .They are very observant and plan their action before implementation. They lead a quite life and avoid moving out in groups. They are known to be very wise and take decision after much considerable thought. There are many stories associated with the tricks played by them on the poor animals and eaten for flesh .They are not very brave by nature and they normally don’t hunt for their prey .they trick the animal and take them to a secluded place and then eat them .They also search for all animals or the animals who are lame those who are not able to keep pace with the crowd. They are found almost everywhere for Antarctica. The fox colour varies from climate of the region .It may vary from white to grey to brown. It may also be in the combination of black and white. The diet of fox comprises of small creatures like the lizard, fishes, frogs and sometimes the eggs of the animals. The life span of a full grown fox is 3 to 4 years although in some cases it may also live up to 10 years. As the diet of a fox is restricted to one kg of food daily .So if in case he has hunted for a bigger animal he eats his share for the day and the later is buried under the soil and consumed later .That saves him from for hunting for the day The ceramic knob is hand- made keeping a white background with a hand painted drawing of a fox curled up and in a sitting position.
